Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences to See Enhanced Facilities and Infrastructure

Quetta: Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar emphasized the pivotal role of Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences in advancing medical education in Quetta during his recent visit. The development of the institution remains a government priority, with significant steps being taken to elevate the quality of medical training provided to local students.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during the visit, Health Minister Kakar, accompanied by Secretary Health Mujibur Rahman Panizai and DG Health Amin Mandukhel, received a comprehensive briefing from Prof. Raz Mohammad Kakar, Principal of Bolan Medical College. The briefing covered the college’s academic achievements, infrastructure challenges, and future necessities. A major concern raised was the inadequate student accommodations, leading the minister to direct immediate action to expedite the construction of new hostel facilities.

Furthermore, Minister Kakar expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards in the existing hostel blocks and library, underscoring the importance of a clean environment for the health and academic success of the students. He issued directives for the improvement of sanitation conditions to meet established standards and encouraged students to maintain cleanliness.
