BSF Officer Injured in Accidental Discharge During Patrol in Baramulla

Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) officer suffered an injury on Friday when his service rifle accidentally discharged during a routine patrol in Baramulla district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place in Old Town, Baramulla. Officials reported that Constable Manish Meghwal was injured by a gunshot wound resulting from the accidental discharge of his firearm.

The injured constable was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital. Officials have confirmed that his condition is stable.
