Burshane LPG (Pakistan) Limited’s appointment of chief executive officer (CEO)

Karachi, June 13, 2013 (PPI-OT): This is with reference to our letter No. FIN/11 C dated May, 28, 2013, enclosed herewith is an advance copy of an Abstract U/S 218 (2) of the Companies Ordinance 1984, to be sent to the Shareholders of the Company as requited under the law.

Appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abstract under Section of the Companies Ordinance

The Board of Directors of Burshane LPG Pakistan Ltd. (“The Company”), in its meeting held on May 28, 2013 appointed Mr. Asad Alam Niazi as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from May 28, 2013 for a period of three years on the terms and conditions approved by the Board in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association.

In compliance with the provisions of Section 218 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, you are hereby informed and advised that Mr. Asad Alam Niazi’s appointment is in accordance with his contract of employment and employment policy of the Company (collectively known as the “Terms and Conditions”).

As per the Terms and Conditions, Mr. Asad Alam Niazi is entitled to a gross remuneration of Rs. 12 million per annum in addition, the company will provide a company maintained car and other entitlements arising under his contract of employment with the Company and the applicable employment policy of the Company or as approved by the Board.

The above remuneration is subject to such increments, bonuses and adjustments as may be granted at any time and from time to time by the Board of Directors of the Company and/ or in accordance with the Company’s policies and service rules for the time being in force.
