Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand Visits Pakistan to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand will undertake an official visit to Pakistan today (Monday). She is visiting the country at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. This marks her first visit to Pakistan since assuming office.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar and Anita Anand are scheduled to hold bilateral talks that will encompass the full range of Pak-Canada relations. The discussions aim to enhance cooperation in trade and investment, education, and facilitate people-to-people exchanges. In addition to these topics, both ministers will exchange views on regional and global developments that hold mutual interest.

During her visit, the Canadian Foreign Minister will also meet with the leadership of Pakistan, further emphasizing the importance of strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
