Punjab Introducing Biometric Attendance for Teachers in Govt Schools

Islamabad: The Punjab government is set to implement a biometric attendance system for teachers in all government schools throughout the province. This move aims to enhance the effectiveness of security and surveillance systems.

According to Radio Pakistan, the School Education Department has directed all district education authorities to install CCTV cameras and biometric systems in approximately thirty-eight thousand government schools in the province within a month.
