Caretaker Sindh CM directs to speed up work on ongoing development schemes

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister retired Justice Maqbool Baqar has directed to speed up the work on the ongoing development schemes and complete them within the given time frame.

He was chairing a meeting in Sehwan on Saturday.

The Chief Minister was briefed about the issue of land acquisition of Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway.

He was informed that around about two hundred seventy six schemes of roads at a cost of more than seven thousand million rupees are in process in the division.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to talk to the federal government and resolve the land acquisition issue and start work on the project after consultation with the officials of National Highway Authority.
