CDWP Approves Six Development Projects Worth Rs151 Billion

Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party has approved six development projects worth 151 billion rupees in the sectors of higher education, tourism, and communications. This approval was granted during a meeting held in Islamabad, chaired by Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.

According to Radio Pakistan, the projects include the Establishment of the National Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, the Establishment of the National Center for Manufacturing, and the Improvement of Academic Facilities at the University of Karachi. Additionally, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Accessibility Project were also approved.

During the meeting, Minister Ahsan Iqbal addressed the participants, directing the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission to promptly create a comprehensive and effective strategy to ensure educational and developmental opportunities for the youth of Balochistan. He emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the prospects for the youth and securing their future.
