Karachi: Malik Muhammad Bostan, Chairman of the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, expressing optimism that the deal will help bring an end to the two-year-long war in Gaza.
In an official statement, Bostan urged all parties involved to ensure the immediate implementation of the agreement. He emphasized the importance of releasing all Palestinian women and children, preventing any future escalation, and taking urgent steps to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Bostan highlighted the global community’s desire for a just resolution that allows Palestinians to govern their own land. He stated that the ceasefire opens the door to a future rooted in justice and stability for the region’s people.
Additionally, Bostan called for the swift exchange of prisoners as outlined in the agreement and stressed the need for the immediate withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza. He suggested that collaborative efforts with regional powers, including Iran, could further strengthen the peace process.
