KARACHI: Messe Frankfurt Pakistan successfully participated in the 41st Pakistan International Handmade Carpet Exhibition, held in Lahore from October 7 to 9, 2025.
The event, organized by the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), gathered leading handmade carpet manufacturers, exporters, and international buyers to showcase Pakistan’s rich tradition in carpet weaving.
Messe Frankfurt’s involvement aimed to promote its upcoming flagship event, Heimtextil 2026. This event is known as the world’s largest trade fair for home and contract textiles and has been increasingly focusing on carpets and rugs.
By participating in the Lahore exhibition, Messe Frankfurt engaged with key stakeholders in the South Asian carpet industry, emphasizing the value and opportunities Heimtextil 2026 will offer.
The upcoming edition in Frankfurt is expected to present a broader selection of high-quality carpets, providing an international platform for manufacturers, designers, and buyers to connect and collaborate within the global market.
