China Commends Pakistan’s Peace Mediation Between Iran and US

Beijing: China has appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace between the United States and Iran. Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, while responding to a question in Beijing regarding Pakistan’s mediation role, said Pakistan’s initiative and sense of responsibility in actively promoting peace, ending hostilities, and playing an important mediation role in the US-Iran negotiations is appreciable.

According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson emphasized that China is willing to continue upholding the spirit of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s four-point proposal on safeguarding and advancing peace and stability in the Middle East. This proposal underscores China’s commitment to fostering a harmonious environment in the region.

Furthermore, China reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the China-Pakistan five-point initiative, which is aimed at restoring peace and stability in the Gulf and the broader Middle East region. This initiative highlights the collaborative efforts of both China and Pakistan in working towards a peaceful resolution of conflicts in the region.
