Islamabad: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emphasized that access to safe drinking water is a fundamental right for every citizen of the province. During a meeting held in Lahore, she instructed the relevant authorities to enhance the number of water supply trucks to ensure the public has access to clean drinking water.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister directed that all 1,886 water filtration plant projects across the province should be completed promptly. Additionally, she mandated the supply of bottled drinking water to regions where safe drinking water remains unavailable.
