CM Punjab Launches Electric Bus Service in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched an electric bus service in Faisalabad on Monday. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Maryam Nawaz stated that the launch of Faisalabad’s first electric bus service marks a new era of affordable and eco-friendly urban transport in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project reflects the provincial government’s commitment to green initiatives, a clean environment, and modern transport facilities for the people. Maryam Nawaz announced that, initially, thirty electric buses will operate on seven major routes of the city with a fare of twenty rupees.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also announced the launch of a modern Metro Bus project for Faisalabad, which is set to be completed this year.
