CM Punjab Orders Foolproof Security Arrangements During Muharram

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has stated that maintaining law and order during Muharram-ul-Haram is the foremost priority of the government. Addressing a meeting in Lahore today to review Muharram-ul-Haram arrangements, she directed the authorities to ensure foolproof security for Majalis and mourning procession routes.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of providing cold drinking water and Sharbat Sabeel along the routes for participants of the processions. She also instructed that field hospitals be available on the routes of mourning processions to cater to any medical emergencies that may arise during the events.
