CM Punjab Seeks UAE Investment as Bilateral Cooperation Efforts Intensify

LAHORE: The Punjab Government and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to establish a Working Group aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi in Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on strategies to increase economic cooperation, advance development projects in Punjab, and promote tourism. Chief Minister Nawaz extended an invitation to UAE investors, offering special incentives and a business-friendly environment as part of her efforts to attract foreign investment to the province.

Ambassador Alzaabi expressed the UAE’s interest in expanding its project portfolio in Pakistan. He emphasized the UAE’s commitment to fostering sustainable development through public-private partnerships with the Punjab Government, signaling a willingness to deepen economic ties and collaborate on new initiatives.
