Cold and Dry Weather to Persist Across Regions

Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. Very cold conditions are likely to persist over hilly areas, and smog along with shallow fog patches may develop in some plain areas of Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were: Islamabad at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore at fourteen, Karachi at seventeen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta at three, Gilgit at minus-one, Murree at four, and Muzafarabad at six degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with very cold and dry weather in Leh, and dry weather in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning were: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at three degrees centigrade, Jammu at eleven, Leh at minus-six, and Shopian and Baramula at one degree centigrade.
