Karachi, Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited, a leading consumer goods company, has announced the decisions made by its Board of Directors during a meeting held on July 31, 2023, at the company’s registered office in Karachi.

The company’s Board of Directors has recommended a final cash dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, at a rate of Rs. 5.00 per share, equivalent to 50% of the nominal value. This final dividend comes in addition to the 1st interim cash dividend of Rs. 20.00 per share (200%) and the issuance of fully paid bonus shares at 45% for every twenty shares of Rs. 10/- each. Additionally, a 2nd interim cash dividend at Rs. 40.00 per share (40%) and the issuance of fully paid bonus shares at 100% for every one share of Rs. 10/- each were previously announced.

The annual general meeting of the company is scheduled to take place on September 29, 2023, in Karachi. Shareholders whose names are listed in the register of members on September 21, 2023, will be entitled to the aforementioned entitlements.

As part of these financial decisions, the company has also announced the closure of its share transfer books from September 22, 2023, to September 29, 2023 (both days inclusive).
