Collective effort needed to fight sectarianism: Noor-ul-Haq Qadri

Islamabad, August 11, 2020 (PPI-OT): Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Dr. Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has called for collective effort to fight the menace of sectarianism. Addressing a function in Islamabad on Tuesday, he lauded the efforts of United Ulema Board Punjab, National Solidarity Council and Interfaith Harmony Committee to promote sectarian harmony in the society.

Noor-ul-Haq Qadri asked the Council of Islamic Ideology to give these efforts a shape of national charter. He said the present government controlled the spread of Coronavirus pandemic with the cooperation of religious scholars.
