Congress Leader Accuses BJP of Neglecting Jammu’s Development Needs

Jammu: In a pointed critique at a local party gathering, Mula Ram, a prominent Congress leader, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of disregarding the developmental needs of the Jammu region, highlighting a series of unmet commitments and ignored issues.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mula Ram, while speaking to party workers at Jaffer Chak in Jammu, charged that the BJP has consistently overlooked the genuine concerns of the people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, placing its political objectives above the welfare of the local populace.

He elaborated on the BJP’s tenure in power, stating, “For years, the BJP has been in power, yet the issues of unemployment, infrastructure, and social justice remain unaddressed. The people of J and K have been let down by empty promises and hollow slogans,” thereby questioning the ruling party’s commitment to the region’s progress.
