Consuls General of Pakistan and Bangladesh Discuss Strengthening Ties in Dubai

Dubai: The Consuls General of Pakistan and Bangladesh met in Dubai to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, and improving consular services and community initiatives. The meeting underscored the potential for collaboration between the two nations.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, H.E. Md. Rashedujjaman, Consul General of Bangladesh, visited the Consulate General of Pakistan and was warmly welcomed by H.E. Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General of Pakistan. The discussion focused on strengthening trade ties and involved both parties agreeing to engage their consulates’ trade sections for further promotion.

During the session, Mr. Md. Rashedujjaman expressed gratitude for the reception and appreciated the insights on the consular services of the Pakistani consulate. The conversation included topics like passport issuance, national identity cards, and visa procedures.

Both consuls general committed to enhancing information sharing and exploring future collaboration in community services and public awareness initiatives. The meeting was attended by senior diplomats from both nations, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation.
