Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that consultation on appointment of caretaker prime minister is going on between prime minister and leader of the opposition as per constitution.
Talking to media at Karachi press club today, she said PML-(N) will contest election under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
To a question, she said holding elections within three months after completion of constitutional tenure of the government is the responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the nation is still paying price of wrong, policies of PTI government and incumbent government has steered the country out of economic crisis.
In a meeting with office bearers of Karachi press club during her visit to Karachi Press Club on Sunday, Information Minister assured that problems of journalistic fraternity will be resolved on priority basis.
she said the grants of press clubs were discontinued by previous government and these would be restored, soon.
