CPI-M Calls for Public Outcry Over Naxalite Massacre in Chhattisgarh

Kothagudem: In response to a deadly encounter on October 4, the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) has urged the citizens of Chhattisgarh to vocalize their opposition to the violence and the killing of 35 Naxalites by Indian forces.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CPI-M East Bastar Divisional Committee issued a statement detailing the incident, which occurred during cordon and search operations in the dense forests straddling the border between Narayanpur and Dantewada districts. The Chhattisgarh police confirmed that 31 of the deceased were members of the PLGA’s sixth company, indicating a significant impact on the Maoist group’s operations.

The CPI-M’s call to action reflects a broader concern over the ongoing conflict and its ramifications for the local population, advocating for a more vocal public response to such incidents of violence.
