Crackdown announced against mobile phone towers in SITE Area

Karachi, February 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): SITE Ltd announced crackdown against 58 mobile phone towers in SITE area Karachi on non-clearance of dues more than 20 million rupees. Director Finance SITE Ltd Mr. Arbab Ali Khan said we wrote many letters since 2010 to concern mobile phone companies for clearance of their annual dues but they are not clearing the dues more than five million rupees annually and in an inspection we found several towers which was installed in SITE area without any NOC.

He said crack down will start soon against illegal instalment of mobile towers and non-clearance of dues with the help of Security Authorities. Director Finance said we are taking measures to recover our dues on different government and non-government departments.

He said we recover 70 million rupees from National Equity and trying to recover remaining amount as soon as possible. Mr. Arbab Ali Khan said the Board of Directors Meeting of SITE Ltd. will be held on 25th February, in this meeting the Budget of SITE Ltd will approve and all preparation of this meeting has been made. He also said the Annual General Body Meeting of SITE Ltd will be held on 3rd March, different issues will discuss in this meeting.
