Currency Exchange Rates Show Minor Fluctuations Amidst Economic Stability

Karachi: Currency exchange rates experienced slight variations today, with the US dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, and Middle Eastern currencies showing minor changes against the Pakistani rupee. The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported updated buying and selling rates for several major currencies.

The US dollar was recorded at a buying rate of 279.75 PKR and a selling rate of 281.96 PKR. The euro was noted at 306.02 PKR for buying and 309.09 PKR for selling. The British pound saw rates of 359.22 PKR and 363.15 PKR for buying and selling, respectively.

The Japanese yen was exchanged at 1.87 PKR for buying and 1.92 PKR for selling. The United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal were reported with slight changes, with the dirham at 76.03 PKR for buying and 76.73 PKR for selling, and the riyal at 74.29 PKR and 74.96 PKR.

Interbank rates for the US dollar were noted at 280.56 PKR for buying and 280.76 PKR for selling. The data indicate stable exchange conditions with minor fluctuations across different currencies. The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan continues to monitor these rates closely.
