Currency Exchange Rates Witness Minor Fluctuations in Pakistan

Karachi: Currency exchange rates in Pakistan experienced slight variations as of November 30, 2024, with minor adjustments observed in the buying and selling prices of major currencies including the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar on November 30 were recorded at 277.26 and 279.02 respectively, a marginal decrease from the previous day’s rates of 277.31 and 279.07. The Euro’s rates saw an increase, with buying at 291.82 and selling at 294.28, compared to 291.47 and 294.30 from the prior day.

The British Pound also showed slight movement, with buying at 351.49 and selling at 354.49, up from the previous rates of 350.82 and 354.17. The rates for the Japanese Yen remained unchanged at 1.81 for buying and 1.86 for selling.

In the Middle Eastern currencies, the UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal also experienced slight shifts. The UAE Dirham was recorded at 75.35 for buying and 75.98 for selling, while the Saudi Riyal stood at 73.62 for buying and 74.18 for selling, both showing a minimal increase from the previous day.

The interbank rates were not disclosed for November 30, leaving a gap in the available data for financial analysts and traders monitoring currency trends.
