Islamabad: A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Privatisation was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair. The committee approved a fast-tracked plan for the privatisation of PIACL, including the divestment of 51-100 percent share capital together with management control.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized the government’s commitment to PIACL’s privatisation to unlock its full potential and reduce financial burden on the national exchequer.
