Dawlance bags Environmental Management System Certification 14001:2015

Karachi, September 06, 2018 (PPI-OT): Dawlance – Pakistan’s no.1 home appliances brand, bagged the prestigious Environmental Management System 14001:2015 certification, which was presented to the organization by SGS – a multinational company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland which is known for providing inspection, verification, testing and certification services, and has also featured on Forbes Global 2000 thrice; in 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively. Dawlance was certified with the Environmental Management System 14001:2015 Award from the Managing Director of SGS Pakistan – Mr. Abdul Razzak Lakhani, during a ceremony held at Dawlance head office.

ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organization can follow to manage environmental aspects, fulfil compliance obligations, and address risks and opportunities related to environment, to conform to its environmental policy/ (commitment to environmental protection)
Dawlance having a robust environmental management means that appliance brand is fully compliant and has continuously improved environmental management systems in place that reflect best-in-class benchmarks, and helps it to fully follow all the relevant environment regulations.
