Lahore: The 14th death anniversary of the country’s computer prodigy, Arfa Karim Randhawa, is being observed today (Wednesday). She became the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional at the age of nine.
According to Radio Pakistan, Microsoft Corporation invited the young genius to America for a visit the same year following her achievement. She also represented Pakistan on various international forums.
Arfa Karim was the recipient of the Pride of Performance award as well as the Fatimah Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of Science and Technology. At the age of 16, Arfa Karim passed away on this day in 2012 in Lahore.
