Karachi: The 29th death anniversary of veteran television actress Khalida Riyasat was observed on Tuesday. Khalida Riyasat, a prominent figure of Pakistani television, was born in 1953 in Karachi and became a household name through her impactful performances.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khalida Riyasat dominated television screens during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Her contribution to the television industry is celebrated through her memorable roles in popular dramas such as ‘Panah’, ‘Bandish’, ‘Dhoop’, ‘Deewar’, and ‘Parosi’, among many others.

Khalida Riyasat passed away on this day in 1996, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire actors and entertain audiences.
