Islamabad: The spokesperson of Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab has issued a high-level flood warning due to the rising water flow in River Sutlej at Ferozepur.
According to Radio Pakistan, the River Sutlej at Ferozepur downstream is experiencing a high flood situation and water levels in the river as well as adjoining streams and drains are expected to rise further.
PDMA Punjab has directed all concerned Deputy Commissioners to remain on high alert. DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said that, in line with the directives of the Punjab Chief Minister, all necessary arrangements must be completed without any delay.
