Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that every district of Punjab will have modern electric buses by December.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister shared this development on the social media platform X, highlighting the ongoing progress of the project aimed at improving public transportation across the province.
In her announcement, she mentioned that 100 more buses have departed from Shanghai port for Pakistan two days ago. The buses are designed to be climate-controlled and are equipped with CCTV cameras, ensuring a secure and comfortable travel experience for citizens. Additionally, the fare for these modern buses will be set at just 20 rupees, making them an affordable option for daily commuters.
