Death Anniversary of Poet Munawwar Badayuni Being Observed Today

Karachi: The 41st death anniversary of legendary Urdu poet Munawwar Badayuni is being observed today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Munawwar Badayuni’s real name was Saqlain Ahmed, and he was born on December 2, 1908, in Badayun, India. He gained recognition for his Hamdiya and Naatiya poetry, which contributed significantly to his fame.

Munawwar Badayuni passed away on this day in 1984 in Karachi, leaving behind a legacy of impactful poetry.
