Defence Minister Criticizes KP Leadership Over Social Media Conduct

Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has posted an important message on his X account in response to a letter from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Defence Minister addressed Sohail Afridi directly, stating that under his leadership, repeated attacks take place on the federal capital. He asserted that the party’s leadership, including the Chief Minister himself, is attacking the unity of Pakistan.

Khawaja Asif further pointed out that party workers, with the patronage of their leadership, use extremely abusive and filthy language on social media. The Defence Minister emphasized that such actions are damaging constitutional positions and inter-provincial respect.

He called upon all stakeholders to come together, condemn these acts, and work collectively to prevent them in the future.
