Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s Official Visit to Morocco Focuses on Strengthening Defense Ties

Casablanca: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has arrived in Morocco for a three-day official visit to the country. He was welcomed by Commander of the Casablanca Army, Major General Ahmed Hatuto, along with senior government officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani.

According to Radio Pakistan, during this visit, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between Pakistan and Morocco to promote defense cooperation. This agreement is viewed as an important step towards further strengthening the bilateral defense relations between the two nations.

The Defence Minister is scheduled to meet with the Moroccan Minister of State for National Defense Administration, Abdul Latif Lodie. Additionally, he will lead delegation-level talks with Moroccan officials to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
