Govt to Financially Support Families Affected by G-7 Explosion: Tariq

Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has assured that the government will make all possible efforts to financially support the families affected by the explosion that ripped through a house in the G-7 area of Islamabad during wedding celebrations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Chaudhry, during his visit to the affected area in the G-7 Sector of the federal capital, stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had ordered an inquiry immediately after the blast to determine the causes. The inquiry report concluded that the explosion occurred due to a gas leakage.

The Minister reported that eight people lost their lives while twelve others sustained injuries in this tragic incident. He further mentioned that eight individuals have been discharged from the hospital, while four others are still receiving treatment, with one in critical condition.

Dr. Chaudhry expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and other families affected by this tragic incident.
