Karachi, October 31, 2019 (PPI-OT): On the directives of Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed, DEPD has written letters to all General Public Universities in Sindh, asking them to establish Special Education Department in their respective universities. Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that due to establishment of Special Education Department in General Public Universities in Sindh will help special students in particular and normal students in general to get education in relevant fields.
Meanwhile on the directives of Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar, DEPD has also written a letter to PD Hepatitis Control Program Sindh to provide vaccination of Hepatitis-B for the children with disabilities along with staff in Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Centres across the province. In a statement issued here on Thursday, Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that it was also a prime duty of DEPD to provide better health facilities to special children and save them from diseases.
