London: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar emphasized the critical role of robust Pakistan-UK relations in advancing mutual interests across bilateral and regional spectrums during a meeting with his British counterpart, Angela Rayner.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dar praised the British-Pakistani diaspora for their role in deepening the historical connections between the two nations. He recalled Rayner’s supportive visit to Pakistan following the devastating 2022 floods, highlighting ongoing collaboration in climate action and the pursuit of international support for nations vulnerable to climate change.

Additionally, Dar expressed gratitude for the UK’s continued provision of duty-free access for Pakistani exports, a policy that bolsters economic ties between the two countries.
