Naval Headquarters Hosts Defence and Martyrs Day Ceremony

Islamabad: This morning, a poignant ceremony marking Defence and Martyrs Day took place at the Martyrs’ Monument within the Naval Headquarters. The event was attended by high-ranking naval officials, including Vice Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Awais Ahmed Bilgrami, who honored the memory of fallen soldiers.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Admiral Bilgrami laid a floral wreath at the monument and offered prayers for the martyrs, wishing them high ranks in the hereafter and praying for the nation’s security and unity. The ceremony also provided an opportunity for the Vice Chief to meet with the families of the martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices and the profound impact on their loved ones.
