Deputy PM Mohammad Ishaq Dar to Lead Pakistan Delegation at Commonwealth Summit in Samoa

Apia: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar is set to represent Pakistan at the Commonwealth Heads of Government summit currently underway in the Samoan capital. The summit, attended by delegations from 56 countries, will host various side meetings and forums, leading up to the main Heads of Government meeting on Friday.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy PM Dar will present Pakistan’s stance on critical global challenges, focusing on climate change, economic development, and enhancing international cooperation within the Commonwealth. At the Commonwealth Business Forum, he is scheduled to deliver a keynote address underscoring Pakistan’s initiatives on youth empowerment, skills development, and digital transformation. Additionally, he will engage in discussions with heads of delegations from other Commonwealth member states throughout the summit.
