High Alert Issued at Srinagar Airport After Hoax Bomb Threat

Srinagar: Authorities at Srinagar Airport in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir were put on high alert today following a hoax bomb threat targeting an Indigo flight that had arrived from Mumbai. The threat led to an intensive search of the aircraft, which was due to depart for Delhi via Jammu.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the bomb threat call was received shortly before the aircraft’s scheduled departure at 5:20 PM. Security protocols were immediately enacted, causing temporary disruptions at the airport. However, the senior official from the Airport Authority of India later confirmed that the threat was unfounded and declared a hoax.
