Karachi: In an effort to streamline the process for prospective pilgrims, bank branches designated for Hajj 2025 will remain operational on Saturday, November 30, 2024, and Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. nationwide. This measure is aimed at facilitating the submission of Hajj applications and the accompanying dues.
According to State Bank of Pakistan, this decision was made at the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony. The 15 designated banks include National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank, United Bank, MCB Bank, and several others. These banks have been tasked with collecting Hajj applications and dues from November 18, 2024, through December 3, 2024, as part of the Hajj Policy.
