Sindh Governor Addresses Dow University Graduates, Emphasizes Determination Over Resources

Karachi: Sindh Governor and Chancellor Kamran Khan Tesori addressed graduates at the 14th awarding ceremony of Dow University, highlighting the importance of courage and determination in achieving success. Governor Tesori distributed certificates to successful students, urging them to dedicate their achievements to their parents and teachers as they embark on their professional journeys.

According to Sindh Governor House, Tesori emphasized that Pakistan is rich in talent and that students must play a role in addressing the country’s economic challenges. He cited examples of Pakistani figures who succeeded despite limited resources, such as Arshad Nadeem, whose perseverance led to international recognition in athletics. Tesori also noted the historical contributions of Pakistanis to the development of foreign institutions, underscoring the potential impact of the country’s youth.

The governor encouraged students to remain resilient in the face of adversity and to contribute to national progress by staying in Pakistan. He highlighted ongoing initiatives, such as free IT courses for 50,000 students at the Governor’s House, to prepare for a future driven by artificial intelligence. Tesori mentioned positive economic indicators, including the stock exchange’s 100 index surpassing one lakh rupees, as signs of improving prospects for the nation. He expressed optimism about international support from countries like Turkey, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, calling for collective efforts to enhance the country’s economy.
