Development Projects in Gwadar to Strengthen Economy: Junaid

Gwadar: Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has emphasized that the completion of ongoing development projects in Gwadar will play a vital role in strengthening the economy. During his visit to various development projects in the region, he acknowledged the efforts of the Gwadar Development Authority team for their prompt completion of the 1.2 million gallons per day desalination plant and announced certificates of appreciation for their efforts.

According to Radio Pakistan, the minister stated that the completion of this desalination plant will address local complaints regarding the supply of clean water. The project is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for Gwadar residents by ensuring a consistent and safe water supply.

Earlier, the Federal Minister reviewed several key projects, including the cold storage facility, urea factory, abattoir, and the water desalination plant. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to enhance infrastructure and economic conditions in the region, positioning Gwadar as a pivotal hub for trade and industry in the future.
