Islamabad: Director General Public Relations Pakistan Navy, Commodore Ahmed Hussain, has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral. He brings with him extensive experience from various command and staff appointments, including the command of Pakistan Navy Ships.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rear Admiral Hussain has also commanded the US-led Combined Task Force 151 (CTF-151) at Bahrain. He is recognized for his distinguished service with the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).
Rear Admiral Hussain has played a key role in maintaining transparency and communication between the Pakistan Navy and the public.
