Dialogue and Harmony Key to Resolving National Issues, Says Prime Minister

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of dialogue and harmony among political parties as essential elements for resolving national issues. In a conversation with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and spokesman for the government’s negotiation committee with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Sharif highlighted the role of communication in fostering democracy.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister asserted that engagement and dialogue among political parties are crucial for developing a unified strategy to address challenges facing the country. He cautioned that avoiding dialogue is undemocratic and detrimental to national solidarity.

Sharif further stated that Pakistan requires reconciliation and harmony rather than chaos and confrontation. These elements, he argued, are vital for formulating strategies to tackle issues related to economic development and the eradication of terrorism.

The Prime Minister also noted that Pakistan is experiencing progress and an enhanced global image. He vowed not to allow any undemocratic approaches to impede the country’s development and progress.

Senator Siddiqui provided the Prime Minister with an update on the discussions that have taken place with the PTI dialogue committee, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue for national advancement.
