Islamabad:DIG Islamabad Police Ali Waseem has directed all officers to regularly hold open courts, known as Khuli Katcheri, to address citizens’ grievances promptly and resolve their issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting focused on crime prevention and police performance, DIG Waseem emphasized the need for effective and targeted operations against active criminal gangs, utilizing all available resources.
He further instructed the force to ensure the arrest of individuals with previous criminal records, proclaimed offenders, and habitual criminals. Additionally, the performance of all officers was reviewed, and show cause notices were issued to SHOs and investigation officers with unsatisfactory records.
A deadline of fifteen days was given to all SHOs to improve their performance. The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafa, as well as Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs.
