Pakistan and Sri Lanka Commit to Enhance IT and Telecom Cooperation

Islamabad:Pakistan and Sri Lanka have expressed a shared commitment to further strengthening their bilateral cooperation in the fields of information technology and telecommunications.

According to Radio Pakistan, this commitment was made during a meeting in Islamabad between Pakistan’s Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan, Fred Seneviratne.

The discussions highlighted opportunities for greater engagement between the technology sectors of both countries. Key areas of focus included artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IT and IT-enabled services, digital transformation, fintech, startups, and digital skills development.
