Lahore, June 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Inspector General Police Punjab (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the Ghazi officers and officials who are injured while protecting the life and property of citizens and controlling law and order are the jewels in the crown of our heads. Dr. Usman Anwar said that DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi is also among those brave Ghazis who continued on duty despite being severely injured in the eye and head on May 9 and set a great example for all of us.
IG Punjab further said that Punjab Police is a force of such brave and dutiful officers and officials who never hesitate to make any sacrifice to protect the life and property of the citizens. He expressed these views while talking to DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi at the Central Police Office today on the occasion of his arrival after his recovery. Dr Usman Anwar hugged DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi and kissed his forehead.
According to the details, DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi arrived at Central Police Office after resuming charge of the post. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar received Ghazi DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi who was seriously injured by miscreants on May 09. DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, DIG IT Ahsan Yunis, DIG Establishment I Dr. Inam Waheed, DIG Establishment II Zeeshan Asghar, other officers accompanied him.
The senior police officers including IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar garlanded DIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi. CPO office employees showered flower petals on DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi.
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar along with senior police officers of CPO expressed solidarity with DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi at Ghazi Wall. Rizvi informed IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar about the progress in the recovery of his vision after eye operations. DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi expressed his determination to serve the country and the nation with the same enthusiasm once again.
