Doctors deputed at Peshawar Airport for screening of Monkeypox patients

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has deputed seven doctors along with eight technicians at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar for screening of Monkeypox patients.

This was stated by Secretary Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Adeel Shah while reviewing the arrangements made for screening of the Monkeypox virus at airport and Police Services hospital Peshawar.

He said the government is operationalizing the isolation wards at district level to control the spread of Monkeypox virus.
