DPM, Afghan PM Discuss Bilateral, Regional Issues

Kabul: On the sidelines of the signing ceremony for the Framework Agreement on Joint Feasibility Study of the UAP Railway Corridor, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar called on Afghan Prime Minister Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including peace and security, trade and transit cooperation, and regional connectivity. They discussed enhancing collaboration in these areas to foster mutual growth and stability.

Recalling their earlier meeting on 19 April 2025, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continued engagement. They agreed to maintain high-level contacts to promote bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of sustained dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.
