DPM Directs for Speedy Disposal of Confiscated, Tampered Vehicles

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has directed for ensuring the speedy disposal of confiscated and tampered vehicles. He was chairing a meeting to review existing laws and policies regarding such vehicles.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the adoption of international best practices to enhance transparency and efficiency in the digitization and outsourcing of the auction process of these vehicles. During the meeting, the Federal Board of Revenue presented a comprehensive overview of current legal provisions.

Proposals aimed at improving procedures related to the disposal and auction of confiscated vehicles and the use of tampered vehicles were reviewed.
